Tutorials - Custom Mail Server

Normally, the larpmanager send email using its own mail servers - the email are sent by an address of <slug>@larpmanager.com (where <slug> is the organization slug name). With this feature, it is possible instead to give the connection details of an external mail server to be used.

First,  activate the feature in the Organization features.


Now, in the Organization configuration panel, you'll find a section called "Mail Server":

Insert the required information; all the emails regarding your events will be sent using those connection details.

If you're not sure, ask your email provider for these informations. 

If you encounter any issue, please contact us, or your email provider, to check them.


It is possible to configure a mail server individually for each event. If an event has a custom mail server setting, those will be used instead of the ones of the whole organization. 

In the Event configuration panel, you'll find a similar "Mail Server" section, with the same required information.


Additionally, you can configure the emails that will be sent by the system upon player's actions. In the Organization configuration panel, you'll find a section called "Mail":
